Dear Titan Community,
I am writing to you today with an important update regarding our search for Cal State Fullerton’s inaugural vice president for strategic enrollment management. After much consultation with campus stakeholders, I have decided to take a different approach and pause the current search as we move into the fall semester. My immediate focus is on continuing to build momentum in our strategic enrollment efforts, which is crucial to the success of our campus.
The formation of the Division of Strategic Enrollment Management will continue, and during this interim period, it will report to our new vice president for student affairs, Dr. Khalilah Doss.
Dr. Doss’ extensive expertise in higher education and strategic enrollment management will be instrumental in establishing our efforts moving forward. She will work closely with campus partners to ensure the continued progress of our student-centered priorities.
All of us at Cal State Fullerton play an essential role in our recruitment and retention. These efforts—and the meaningful work you do every day—shape our vibrant campus community. Your contributions directly support the success, excellence and well-being of our students, faculty and staff.
My gratitude goes to the search committee for their extensive efforts during this process. I am also appreciative of everyone who participated in the open forums and provided thoughtful feedback.
I look forward to providing more updates soon. As always, thank you all for your continued support of Cal State Fullerton.
Sincerely,
Ronald S. Rochon
President
