Dear Titan Community,
It is my pleasure to announce the exciting news that

Dr. Doss’ decades of experience across student affairs and higher education have earned her a reputation as a thoughtful servant leader, deeply committed to student leadership and development. She is passionate about developing and implementing innovative programs that foster belonging and academic excellence.
She comes to Cal State Fullerton from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where she has been serving as vice president for student affairs and dean of students, overseeing all facets of the university that support student transition, engagement, and well-being.
Prior to MTSU, she served as the vice president for student affairs at the University of Southern Indiana, where she led initiatives to enhance the student experience through evidence-based decision-making and collaborative partnerships with faculty and staff.

I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to David Forgues, vice president for student affairs, for his leadership and dedication during this transitional period. His willingness to take on this vital role has been invaluable to our campus community.
My deepest appreciation to the search committee, chaired by Kimberly Shiner, vice president for university advancement, for their time and thoughtful engagement in this process. And to our campus community members who participated in the open forums, thank you for your honest and valuable feedback, which helped guide this selection process.
Dr. Doss has the support of her family, including Dr. Dameion Doss Sr., children Dameion Doss II and Drake Doss, and her mother Precious Watt. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Doss and her family to our Titan Community.
Sincerely,
