We were made aware of a deeply concerning incident that potentially involves individuals affiliated with a suspended campus organization engaging in racist remarks and potential acts of physical violence at an off-campus location. These behaviors are unacceptable and do not reflect our Titan values and mission.
Cal State Fullerton took immediate action to investigate these alleged activities to protect and verify the safety of our fellow Titans. Our campus police department is actively investigating this case in partnership with the Fullerton Police Department. Separately, Student Affairs has initiated an administrative student conduct review with the subjects involved.
Let me be clear: Cal State Fullerton has zero tolerance for racism, bigotry, hazing, or discrimination of any kind. This is nonnegotiable. Our university is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all and we expect every member to uphold these values and treat one another with dignity and respect.
